Fees
1. Funded sessions for children aged 3 years (eligible for funding) – 5 years
Speen Pre-School offers 15 hours of funded session time over five days per week, between 9.15am and 12.15pm. Each child eligible for funding is entitled to attend for a minimum of three hours a day up to five days a week whenever places are available.
Children are eligible to receive funding from the government to cover up to 15 hours per week from the term after their third birthday. The government sets the cut off dates for birthdays as 31st August, 31st December and 31st March. Therefore if your child’s birthday is on 31st March they would receive funding from the summer term but if their birthday is on 1st April they would not receive funding until the Autumn term.
2. Standard sessions for children aged 2 – 3 years until eligible to receive government funding
£12.50 per session (9.15am – 12.15pm)
Drop-in sessions: We offer ad hoc drop in sessions on any day we have places and the appropriate staff available, at £13.50 per session.
3. Additional activities/sessions
Early morning session (Monday - Thursday 8.45-9.15am): We offer these sessions to all children at £2.50 per session.
Lunch club (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays 12.15 – 1.15pm): We offer these extended sessions to all children aged 3 and over at an additional charge of £5 per lunch club session. The chance for these children to have lunch in a school setting with their friends is going to be part of their day at primary school, so our pre-school lunch club provides great preparation for the experience. On Monday, lunch is followed by a music & movement session (this session is open to 2 year olds). On Tuesday lunch is followed by a Physical Exercise (P.E) session. On Wednesday, lunch is followed by a session focussed on developing the children’s writing skills. If you are interested in sending your child to a lunch club you will need to provide a healthy packed lunch containing no nuts.
French lessons provided by La Jolie Ronde (Mondays): We offer French lessons based on stories, games and music to all children aged 3 and over at an additional charge of £4.25. Please note that although French is during standard session time there is absolutely no obligation to sign up to the lessons. Children not attending French will be engaged in other standard activities with the Pre-School staff.
